About 92 League Grounds
What Is This Website About?
My ambition is to visit all 92 Football League grounds in England and Wales as well as any others that take my fancy! This site keeps you up to date with the latest grounds I have visited.
I have provided details of all the matches that I have attended and from 2001-date I will be providing photos from the game and/or stadium.
As well as having a keen interest in football grounds, I also collect football memorabilia, particularly Carlisle United and programmes from first and last matches at stadiums.
FAQ's
Support: Carlisle United- a regular since the mid 1990's.
Favourite ground: Brunton Park, Carlisle United (though I'm not bias!). With room for over 10,000 standing it remains one of the few traditional grounds left.
Favourite stands at a ground visited: The Kop, Sheffield United and the Brian Clough Stand, Nottingham Forest.
Least favourite ground: Deva Stadium, Chester City.
Ground I would like to visit for my 92nd: I'd like to finish off at somewhere like White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur but if the opportunity comes to go there I will take it!
Time scale to complete the 92: I'd like to complete the 92 as soon as possible but living in Cumbria (and therefore no short trip to any remaining ground!) and with family and other commitments I think it will take at least another 5-10 years.
