Method of Travel: Car
Travelling time: 2hrs 40mins

We were booked on one of the 30 or so buses leaving from Brunton Park and after a slight delay in getting everyone on we left at 10:10am. Traffic all the way to Everton was very busy and with the M58 being closed due to a crash we had to take the longer route down to the M62. We eventually pulled up on Priory Road at 1:30pm.

Pre-Match
None of us in our group were bothered about going for a drink so we wandered around the ground and got some chips by the stadium at The Goodison Supper Bar before heading in.

Stadium
Goodison hasn't changed since my last visit and is still one of my favorite stadiums. Every stand is different and it would be a shame for them to leave should their new stadium plans ever get off the ground.

Admission
Due to the FA Cup rules we got a bigger allocation than normal for Goodison of just under 6,000 which meant we had the majority of the Bullens Road Stand. We managed to get seats in the upper section which offered a great view although the sloping roof did stop us from seeing most of the stand opposite. The concourse was extremely small and far too overcrowded before the game, at half time and at the end of the game.

Programme
Everton produce what I presume is their standard programme for this game - £3.00 for 84 pages. It was fairly reasonable though not as good as last time I was there.

Food and Drink
I had those chips before the game and other than that just had a few snacks that they sell on the bus.

The Game
We gave Everton a really good game and didn't deserve a 3-1 defeat. Although we perhaps didn't deserve to win, Everton weren't two goals better than us.

Home Fans
The noise Everton fans made when they scored their goals showed they knew they'd been in a game. Other than that they were very quiet.

Away Fans
Our support was excellent as was commented on by Everton fans after the game. Unfortunately a few hundred missed most of the first half due to problems on the trains.

Stewards / Police
The stewards and police were fine and didn't bother any of the fans.

The Ref
I thought the referee was fairly good through out the game.

The Journey Home
