After making the short trip from Oakwell, home
of Barnsley we arrived at Hillsborough.
I had emailed SWFC a few days before and they said I would be allowed to enter the stadium if I visited the Community Sports Hall at the ground. Before this I had a quick walk round and took lots of photos.
The characteristics of the stadum are superb, and with its size you could see why it has held so many FA Cup Semi Finals games.
SWFC kept to their word and after waiting a few minutes for the kids to finish their training session one of the coaches opened the gates by the Kop turnstiles. He left me to wander round taking photos and was happy to answer some questions I had.
