Newcastle United Ground Tour
Date: Sunday 25th November 2007
Team: Newcastle United
Stadium: St James' Park
The
tour of St James' Park was £10 and was good value for money. After
meeting in the St James' Cafe on level 2 of the Milburn Stand (which was
hard to find!) the tour took you round the following:
- Learning centre (computer's and multimedia for children).
- Up to level 3 for the suites where the directors eat and drink.
- Out into the stadium to see where the manager and chairman sit and also the press.
- Up to level 4 and into the Bambrough suite which seats 1,000 people. It costs around £1,800 for a season ticket where you can access this area. This allows you to eat a 4 course meal and to see the MOTM after the game.
- Up to level 6 and into the executive boxes- these cost rougly £80,000 a season.
- Across to the family area with all the facilities for the younger fans (computers, games etc).
- Up to level 7 at which the highest point of this is a quarter of a mile from the furthest corner flag.
- Down to the ground floor of the Milburn Stand and into the home changing rooms.
- Down the tunnel and by the pitch and dugouts.
- Into the media suite.
- Out of the stadium and finally into the museum where you can got a discount on any items bought.
