Kilmarnock Ground Tour

I
was on holiday near Ayr so was quite happy to make the short drive to
Rugby Park. The ground was easy to find and the rear of the East Stand
was seen above the houses which was an impressive site.
The ground is surrounded by houses and close to the city centre and has a great feel to it. The steelwork of the stands is impressive as are the superb floodlights.
I was fortunate enough to go when the grounds man was inside therefore meaning a gate was open and he was happy enough for me to walk round and take a few photos. This is definitely a ground on my list to do- all seater but one with character and a feel of tradition about it- in some ways similar to that at Millwall.
