Celtic Ground Tour
Date: Saturday 29th November 2008
Team: Celtic
Stadium: Celtic Park
As
I was making the trip up to St
Mirren's Love Street before it disappears in a few weeks time I left
early so I was able to take in a ground tour of Celtic and also Hampden
Park.
I was able to walk all around the outside of the stadium and get some photos before the tour started at 9:30am. It cost £8.50 and was the worst tour I've been on so far. As you'll see from the photos below all you got to see was the boardroom (with a 20 minutes explanation about every single trophy in there), the press room where you watched a 20 minute DVD on the history of the club, and then 10 minutes on pitch-side.
It was hardly a ground tour- what you'd normally see on top of the above is the changing rooms, press/executive boxes, the tunnel, as well as seeing the stadium from a decent view point.
The guide was friendly enough and she knew her history but it was barely worth a few pounds never mind £8.50, and I wouldn't recommend it at all.
