Hampden Park Ground Tour
Date: Saturday 29th November 2008
Team: Scotland's National Stadium
Stadium: Hampden Park
After
the Celtic Park tour I made the short
ten minute drive to Hampden Park. Costing £9 you got the tour and
also entrance into the museum and in the same part of the stadium there
is also the shop and cafe.
The tour was good- the guide was knowledgeable, funny and it was great to hear him mention Queens Park who are often the forgotten team that use Hampden.
The tour took you around the following:
- Referee's room
- Away team dressing room
- Warm up area
- Home team dressing room
- Tunnel
- Pitch-side
- Dugouts
- Press seats
- Executive seats
I would recommend this tour, it was decent value for money and the museum was huge with all sorts to keep you occupied for a few hours. I only wish I had more time to look at it.
